• Keep everyone at least 10’ (3 m) away from turning drill string.
• Push rod or pipe slowly. Forcing can bend string. Do not use
bent rod or pipe.

Use correct equipment and work
methods. Use and maintain proper
safety equipment.
1. Rotate spindle clockwise, full-speed.
2. Move carriage forward slowly. Drill first pipe as straight as
possible.
