Mode dial maintenance
If the mode dial is difficult to turn due to salt or sand accumulation,
remove the mode dial and wash it.
: · When performing maintenance on the mode
dial, do so with the Light Module and Battery
Module connected to each other in order to
prevent water from getting inside.
· Since the Ring Light Kit uses a magnet
switching mechanism, the light may turn on
accidentally during maintenance. Avoid looking
at the light source during maintenance.
Removing and washing the maintenance nut

Insert the maintenance opener into the groove on the
maintenance nut as illustrated. Turn the nut counterclockwise
to loosen it. Turn the nut with fingers to remove it. Pull out the
mode dial.

Rinse off any salt, sand, or other debris on the mode dial
shaft and the back of the mode dial with running water. Let
the mode dial and shaft dry naturally in a place not subject to
direct sunlight.
