Startup

Press and hold the on/standby button for at least 1
second to turn on the unit.
The unit starts up, and [READY] appears on the LCD
display.
If there is no print cartridge or print paper loaded, the status
indicator lights orange and an error message appears on the
LCD display.
Shutdown

Finish any operations in progress.

Press the on/standby button to set the unit to standby
mode.
Wait at least 5 seconds before pressing the on/standby
button to turn the unit on again after turning it off.
