How to read the oil gauge:

is between the upper and lower limit.

Adding engine oil
CAUTION: Always cool the engine down
before adding engine oil.
CAUTION: Always keep the engine level
when adding engine oil. Otherwise you can add too
much engine oil, and this could result in an oil spill or
arewithwhitesmoke.
Relltheoilbeforetheoillevelpassesthelowerlimit.
Change the oil when the oil color darkens.
1. Placetheengineinalevelpositionanddetachthe
oil cap.

Add the engine oil up to the upper limit using an oil bottle.

CAUTION: Be sure to tighten the oil cap
securely.Insufcienttighteningmaycauseoilleaks.
NOTICE: If engine oil spills out, wipe up the
spilled oil before starting the engine.
Fuel supply
WARNING: When refuelling, stop the engine
and wait for the engine to cool down. Otherwise
ignition,are,orskinburnsmayresult.
WARNING: The engine must be refueled in
a location free of re to prevent ignition or a re.
Never bring the re (smoking, etc.) near the fuel
supply.
WARNING: Refuel on a at surface. Do not
refuel on an unstable surface. Refuel in good light
and visibility.
WARNING: Open the fuel tank cap slowly.
The fuel may spill out due to internal pressure.
WARNING: Take care not to spill the fuel.
Wipe up spilled fuel.
WARNING: Refuel the engine in a well-ven-
tilated place.
WARNING: Refuel in an open, empty
location.
WARNING: Handle the fuel with care.
CAUTION: Fuel adhering to the skin or enter-
ing an eye may cause allergies or irritation. If any
physical abnormalities are detected, consult the
medical specialist immediately.
NOTICE: DO NOT put oil in the fuel tank.
Fuel
WARNING: Keep the machine and tank in a
cool place out of direct sunlight.
WARNING: Never keep fuel in a car.
This engine is a 4-stroke engine. Be sure to use auto-
mobile gasoline (regular gasoline or premium gasoline).
NOTICE: Never use gasoline mixed with oil,
such as 2-stroke oil or motor oil. Doing so can
causeexcessivecarbonaccumulationormechanical
problems.
NOTE: Keep fuel in a special container in a
well-ventilated and shaded area. Use fuel within a
period of 4 weeks. Otherwise, fuel may deteriorate
in one day.
Refuelling method
CAUTION: If the tank cap is damaged or
awed, replace it.
CAUTION:Thetankcapwearsovertime.
Replace the tank cap every two to three years.
NOTICE: DO NOT put fuel in the oil ll port.
