Troubleshooting
Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the prod-
uct is defective, please contact your retailer or the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see
dometic.com/dealer).
For repair and warranty processing, please include
the following documents when you send in the
product:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Disposal
Recycling products with non-replaceable
batteries, rechargeable batteries or light
sources
Recycling packaging material
Technical data
Fault Possible cause Solution
The device is not working at all. Blown fuse Replace the fuse.
Poor power supply contact Clean battery terminals and the
device wiring contacts.
Wrong power supply polarity Connect the device properly.
The display always shows -250 A. Poor connection at the Hall sensor Clean the Hall sensor connector.
Charge current is positive or the load
current is negative
Wrong current direction Hall sensor must be turned to
180 degree.
Sometimes wrong current value Cables inside the Hall sensor All the battery connected cables
must go through the Hall sensor
opening.
The hole in the Hall sensor is too
small for all the positive cables.
Hall sensor dimension Install the Hall sensor to the negative
wire to the battery.
After a longer time the display shows
still 100% current charge.
Initialization in progress Charge the battery for minimum
24 h.
Display flashing and shows <30% or
< 20%
Low battery charge status Charge the battery to avoid deep
discharge.
If the product contains any non-replace-
able batteries, rechargeable batteries or
light sources, you don't have to remove
them before disposal.
If you wish to finally dispose of the prod-
uct, ask your local recycling center or spe-
cialist dealer for details about how to do
this in accordance with the applicable dis-
posal regulations.
The product can be disposed free of
charge.
Place the packaging material in the appro-
priate recycling waste bins wherever pos-
sible.
