• This device should not be used by children aged 8 years and above as
well as persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or
have been instructed to safely use the device and if they understand
the potential hazards.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children or
persons with reduced physical or mental capacity.
• Children must not play with the device and should be properly super-
vised when near the device.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
device.
• Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children under the
age of 8 years.
• Do not store any explosive substances such as spray cans with a flam-
mable propellant in or near the device.

CAUTION!
• Disconnect the device from the mains and isolate the DC (battery)
– before each cleaning and maintenance
–when stored
• Food must be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.

• Check the voltage specification on the data plate corresponds to that
of the energy supply.
• Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
• The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.
2.2 Operating the device safely

• Do not use electrical devices inside the cooler unless they are recom-
mended by the manufacturer for the purpose.
• Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the heat aris-
ing during operation does not build up. Provide an air inlet with a
cross-section of at least 250 cm² as well as a vent hole.
• Ensure the ventilation openings are not covered.
