8 Connecting the refrigerator
8.1 Connecting igniter (RM123 only)
Use a cable with a diameter of 0.5 mm² and a fuse with 0.5 or 1 A.
➤ Connect the terminal block of the igniter (back of the device) with the plus and
minus pole of the battery (fig. 9 1, page 5).
8.2 Connecting to 12 Vg
The device is connected with a 12-V-plug to a 12-V-socket.
➤ Connect the refrigerator as shown in fig. 0, page 6.
➤ Fit a suitable fuse to the control cable.
➤ Connect the control cable to the connected positive terminal (terminal 15).
➤ Install a relay between refrigerator and battery to prevent the battery being com-
pletely discharged when the refrigerator is left in 12-V-mode and the engine is
switched off.
8.3 Connecting to 230 Vw (RM123 only)

The device is connected to a 230-Vw power outlet via a power plug.
The connecting cable is delivered without a power plug. A suitable power plug may
only be connected by a specialist. The power plug must fit the power outlet in your
vehicle and comply with the legal requirements in your country.
If necessary, have an appropriate power plug installed at a suitable place. The mains
socket must be easily accessible so that you can disconnect the device from the
mains.
The cable wiring is as follows:
• Green and yellow: Earth (fig. a 1, page 6)
• Blue: Neutral (fig. a 2, page 6)
• Brown: Phase (fig. a 3, page 6)
WARNING!
The electrical installation must only be connected by a qualified electri-
cian in accordance with national regulations. Improper connection can
cause serious danger.
