10 Trouble shooting
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The refrigerator does
not work.
The refrigerator exceeds a tilt
angle of 3°.
Level the refrigerator.
Level the vehicle.
In gas mode: The
refrigerator does not
work.
The gas bottle is empty. Replace the gas bottle.
The gas valve is closed. Turn on the gas valve.
In 12 Vg operation:
The refrigerator does
not work.
The fuse of the 12 Vg connec-
tion is defective.
Replace the fuse.
The switch of the 12 Vg con-
nection is switched off.
Turn on the switch.
In 230 Vw operation:
the refrigerator does
not work.
There is no 230 Vw supply. Connect device to 230 Vw sup-
ply.
The fuse of the 230 Vw con-
nection is defective.
Replace the fuse.
The thermostat knob is in posi-
tion “0”.
Turn the thermostat knob to posi-
tion “1”, “2” or “3”.
The refrigerator does
not cool sufficiently.
The air circulation around the
ventilator is insufficient.
Remove any parts such as covers.
The evaporator is iced. Defrost the refrigerator.
The temperature is set too
high.
Set a lower temperature.
The gas pressure is incorrect. Set the correct gas pressure.
The ambient temperature is
too high.
Provide a lower ambient
temperature.
Too many foods at the same
time were put into the refriger-
ator.
Remove some of the food.
The door is not closed prop-
erly.
Close the door.
More than one source of
energy is used.
Use only a power source at a time.
