This will ensure the automatic flame failure device is in operation.
Operating with 230 Vw (RM123 only)
➤ Make sure that temperature switch and toggle switch are turned off and the
12 Vg supply from the engine battery is isolated.
➤ Connect the refrigerator with the mains socket.
➤ Switch on the refrigerator by switching the temperature controller (fig. e 1,
page 8) to any level.
Operating with 12 Vg

➤ Make sure that the gas supply and the 230 Vg supply are interrupted.
➤ Connect the power plug with the 12 Vg socket.
9.2 Energy saving tips
• Allow hot food to cool before you place it into the device.
• Do not open the refrigerator more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the door open for longer than necessary.
• Arrange the food in the refrigerator so that air can circulate inside.
9.3 Setting the temperature
Operating with gas
➤ Set the temperature using the temperature controller (fig. d 2, page 7):
– Position “3” = highest cooling capacity
– Near position “0” = lowest cooling capacity
➤ Start the cooling at stage “3” for an hour.
➤ Switch to level “2” or “1” to maintain the temperature, depending on the ambi-
ent temperature.
NOTE
Disconnect the refrigerator from the 12 Vg supply, when the engine is
not running, otherwise the battery will be drained.
