• Never store liquid gas cylinders where there is poor ventilation or
below ground level (funnel-shaped holes in the ground).
• Keep liquid gas cylinders away from direct sunlight. The temperature
must not exceed 50 °C.
• The appliance must not be operated with gas on ferries, at petrol sta-
tions and whilst travelling.
• If you smell gas:
– Close the gas supply cock and close the valve on the cylinder.
– Open the windows and leave the room.
– Do not use any electrical switches.
– Put out any naked flames.
