10 Servicing the generator
10.1 Maintenance table

WARNING!
Only have maintenance work carried out by specialist personnel who
are familiar with the relevant regulations. Inadequate maintenance may
cause serious hazards.
NOTE
Have the following maintenance work performed at regular intervals or
after the specified number of operating hours, whichever is sooner.
Interval Inspection/maintenance
In the first month
or after 20 hours
➤ Change the oil.
➤ Check the air filter (chapter “Servicing the air filter (fig. 7, page 6)”
on page 27).
Every 3 months or
after 50 hours
➤ Check the air filter (chapter “Servicing the air filter (fig. 7, page 6)”
on page 27).
Every 6 months or
after 100 hours
➤ Change the oil.
➤ Check the spark plug (chapter “Servicing the spark plugs” on
page 28).
Once a year or
every 300 hours
➤ Check the valves‘ adjustment.
➤ TEC29 only: Check the fuel tank and fuel filter.
➤ Check the vibration damper.
Every two years ➤ TEC29 only: Check the petrol supply lines.
➤ TEC29LPG only: Check the gas supply lines.
