The E-Shape Booster was designed for walking at speeds of 0.5 km/h and upwards, vigorous walking
and running at a steep incline (up to 20%).
By using the incline system, you will be able to have a more intense workout and burn more calories.
When you walk at a steep incline (between <7 km/h and >17% incline), you will burn 4 times as many
calories as you would when walking on the at.
Thanks to the personalised coaching service on the Domyos app, which you can download to your
tablet before connecting it to the treadmill, you will be able to meet your weight loss goal even faster.
Please read this manual carefully before using the treadmill.
In order for us to be able to give you the best possible assistance when dealing with any questions
you may have, please make a note of the model number and series number of your treadmill before
you call us.
You will nd these numbers on a self-adhesive label located as shown below:
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Check your tness levels with your medical practitioner. This is
particularly important if you are over 35 years of age or have had
health problems in the past.
2. This machine is not designed to be used by people (including
children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities are re-
duced, or by people with no experience or knowledge of it, unless
they have received, with the help of a person responsible for their
safety, supervision or preliminary instruction regarding the use of
the machine.
3. DOMYOS shall be exempt from any liability with regard to claims
for injuries or for harm suered by any person or property which
stems from the incorrect use of this product by the purchaser or
by any other individual.
4. Keep your hands well away from all moving parts. Never put your
hands or feet under the running belt.
5. Immediately after each use, and before carrying out any cleaning,
assembly or maintenance operations, switch o the on/o switch
and unplug your treadmill from the power supply.
6. Never leave the machine unattended when it is plugged in.
7. Never use this machine with a damaged electrical cable or plug,
or if it has come into contact with water.
8. If you need to use an extension cable, only use one that is proper-
ly earthed and no more than 1.5 m in length.
9. Earthing instructions: for your safety, your treadmill must be
plugged into a power socket that has been correctly installed and
tted with an earthing mechanism in accordance with the regula-
tions currently in eect. If in doubt, have your installation checked
by a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to alter the plug sup-
plied with your treadmill in any way.
10. The electricity supply in your household must be in good con-
dition and adhere to the standards in eect. This machine must
be used on a dedicated circuit of at least 16 amps and 220 volts
of alternative current. No other appliances must be plugged into
the same circuit.
11. Never lift up the motor cap. Any adjustments or alterations other
than those outlined in this manual must only be made by an au-
thorised technician. Any failure to abide by this safety measure
may lead to serious or even fatal injuries.
12. It is the user's responsibility to inspect all the component parts
before each use of the product and to tighten them if necessary.
Any parts which are damaged or defective must be replaced im-
mediately.
13. Make sure that the circulation of air in the room is sucient for
the duration of your workout.
14. Wear running shoes that are in good condition. To avoid damag-
ing your machine, make sure that there is no debris, such as gravel
or pebbles, stuck in the soles.
15. Make sure your hair is tied back. Do not wear loose-tting clothes
which could impede you during your workout. Remove all jewellery.
16. At the end of your workout, wait for the treadmill to come to a
complete stop before getting o.
17. At the end of your workout, pull the safety key out of the console
and store it in a safe place, out of the reach of children.
18. Always use the on/o switch when stopping the machine.
19. Position the power cord well away from places where people
might be walking past.
20. Level of acoustic pressure, measured at 1 m from the surface of
the machine and at a height of 1.60 m above the oor: 70 dBA (at
top speed). Noise emission under load is higher than without load
21. To get o the machine in an emergency, hold on to the support
bar and put your feet on the foot-rest.
22. To stop the machine in an emergency, pull out the safety key.
23. If you experience any feelings of vertigo, nausea, chest pains or
any other unusual symptoms, stop your workout immediately
and consult your doctor before continuing your training.
24. The underside of the running belt was lubricated during the man-
ufacturing process. Whilst the machine was in transit, some of the
lubricant may have owed onto the top of the belt and onto the
box. This is entirely normal. If there is some lubricant on the top of
the running belt, clean it using a cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning
product.
25. This machine is designed for use in the home (class HC) for a max-
imum of 5 hours' use per week.
26. WARNING! The heart-rate monitoring systems may not always be
precise. Over-exertion may lead to serious injuries or death. If you
feel unwell, stop your workout immediately.
27. The machine must be placed on a surface that is stable, at and
horizontal.
