  If your Doosan Air Compressor shows signs of improper exhaust, it might be due to several factors. Excessive black or white smoke could be the issue. Other potential causes include a clogged air cleaner, a damaged or wrong injector nozzle, incorrect injection timing, excessive injection volume, or using the wrong fuel. Water mixing in the fuel, low compression pressure, low coolant temperature or a faulty turbocharger can also contribute to this problem.

  If your Doosan Air Compressor is experiencing excessive oil consumption, several factors could be responsible. These include using the incorrect oil type or viscosity, having too much oil quantity, the engine burning oil, faulty piston rings or damaged cylinder bores, a faulty valve stem seal, oil leakage from damaged seals (including the turbocharger seal), loose joints or gaskets, or improper installation of the filter and piping.

  If the aftertreatment Diesel Particulate Filter in your Doosan Air Compressor requires excessive ash cleaning, there are several possible causes. Active or high counts of inactive electronic fault codes, lubricating oil with high ash content, blending of engine lubricating oil into the fuel, fuel supplements/additives with high ash content, excessive crankcase pressure (check for excessive blowby), or excessive internal oil consumption could be the reasons. To address this, view the fault codes on the compressor controller viewport, use an engine lubricating oil that meets CES 20081, confirm and discontinue oil blending into fuel by draining and replacing it with clean fuel, and discontinue the use of fuel supplements/additives with high ash content.
