9.3.21. Vibration damper
Insert the vibration damper to the
crankshaft, and assemble by tightening
the assembling bolts at the specified
tightening torque according to bolt tight-
ening order. (refer to right figure.)
9.3.22. Oil pan
Remove the gaskets thoroughly that pro-
ject at the timing gear case, case cover
of cylinder block, and the con-
tacting part of flywheel housing by
means of a scraper.
Caution :
Be careful for the gasket pieces not fall
into the engine during the work.
Coat the silicone at the gasket part that
was removed (Contacting part), and
attach the new oil pan gasket.
Assemble the oil pan by tightening the oil
pan assembling bolts, and when tighten-
ing bolts, primarily tighten the bolts (4ea)
at the both ends, and then tighten the
rest bolts to specified torque.
