You must read and understand the warnings and instructions contained in the Safety section of this manual,
before performing any operation or maintenance procedures.
Inspect Battery System
 Clean battery outer surfaces with a mixture of
baking soda and water.
 Inspect battery outer surfaces for damage and
replace as necessary.
 Remove battery cable and clean, repair and/or
replace as necessary.
Checking the TMAP Sensor
(LP Engine Only)
1. Verify that the TMAP sensor (2) is mounted
tightly into the manifold adapter (3), with no
leakage.
2. If the TMAP is found to be loose, remove the
TMAP retaining screw and the TMAP sensor
from the manifold adapter.
3. Visually inspect the TMAP O-ring seal for
damage. Replace as necessary.
4. Apply a thin coat of an approved silicon lubricant
to the TMAP o-ring seal.
5. Re-install the TMAP sensor into the manifold
adapter and securely tighten the retaining screw.
