3.3.8. Fuel high pressure pump
z Assemble the fuel high pressure pump,
using the dedicated jig.
z When assembling a new fuel high
pressure pump, open the plug screw
and refill 60 m fuel.
z Install the fuel high pressure pump n
the timing gear case located at the rear side of the flywheel housing.
z Tighten the fixing blots in order of assembly, using the pre-defined torque.
3.3.9. Gear system
z Install the thrust washer on the
camshaft, and assemble the cam gear
to fit into the camshaft pin hole.
z Tighten the bolt for cam gear
assembly with the pre-defined torque.
Gear nut torque 11 kgf•m
Fixing bolt torque 4.4 kgf•m
Flow screw torque 3.0 kgf•m
Nipple torque 4.4 kgf•m
