CAUTION:
Before serving any fuel system component make certain that the fuel cylinder valves are fully
closed and the fuel line pressure properly relieved. Failure to do so could result in serious
personal injury and/or damage to property.
8) Depress the core of the valve to relieve the pressure in the metering valve.
9) Disconnect the mixer fuel hose from the metering valve outlet.
10) Remove the fuel-metering valve.
CAUTION:
The fuel-metering valve may be serviced as an assembly or repaired with replacement parts
from Woodward or DOOSAN Infracore Company.
<Removal>
1) Install the metering valve.
2) Connect the mixer fuel hose to the fuel metering valve outlet and inlet.
3) Connect the electrical connector to the lead on the fuel lock-off valve.
4) Connect the electrical connector to the NGT and NGP sensor.
5) Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
6) Connect the battery ground cable.
7) Open the manual shut off (1/4 turn) valve.
8) Open the fuel cylinder manual valves. On cylinders with electronic in tank valves, connect the electrical
harness connectors to the tank valves.
9) Check the fuel line connections using a non-ammonia soap solution or a liquid commercial leak detector.
10) Run the vehicle and check for proper operation.
