4.6.5. Replacement of oil filter cartridge
At the same times of oil exchanges, replace
the oil filter cartridge.
Drain engine oil by loosening the drain
plug on the filter head.
IMPORTANT:
Don't forget tightening the drain plug
after having drained engine oil.
Loosen the oil filter by turning it
counterclockwise with a filter wrench.
With a rag wipe clean the fitting face of the filter body and the oil filter body so that new oil filter
cartridge can be seated properly.
Lightly oil the O-ring and turn the oil filter until sealing face is fitted against the O-ring. Turn 1-1/4
turns further with the filter wrench.
NOTE:
It is strongly advisable to use DOOSAN Infracore genuine oil filter cartridge for replacement.
4.7. Cooling System
The coolant must be changed at intervals of 40,000km operation or six months whichever comes first. If the
coolant is being fouled greatly, it will lead an engine overheat or coolant blow off from the expansion tank.
4.7.1. Coolant draining
a) Remove the pressure cap
b) Open the drain valve at the radiator
lower part to drain the coolant as the
right figure.
