2.3.25. Starting motor
 The sliding-gear starter motor is flanged to the rear of the flywheel housing on the left-hand side. As
parts of every engine overhaul, the
 starter pinion and ring gear should be cleaned with a brush dipped in fuel and then a coat of grease
should be applied again.
