4.2 Assembly and preparation
4.2.1 Safety instructions
Docking, undocking, and moving the device
Incorrect docking or undocking can result in the device falling down. There is also a
risk of tipping over when the device is moved on the service cart.
The responsible personnel must be trained and appropriately instructed in handling
the device. Otherwise there is a risk of personal injury or property damage.
The device may only be docked, undocked, and moved by appropriately trained
personnel.
Unintentional movement of ceiling supply unit or service cart
Incorrect handling of the ceiling supply unit or the service cart can cause persons or
objects to be trapped. Personal injury or property damage may result as a
consequence.
Take particular care when moving a device which is coupled to the ceiling supply
unit.
When positioning the service cart, take care that your hands do not get into the
area between the device and the service cart.
Remote control
Unintentional movement of the ceiling supply unit or the service cart can cause
persons or objects to be trapped. Personal injury or property damage may result as
a consequence.
Prevent accidental activation of the remote control, e.g., by objects.
If the device is not correctly aligned for docking with the ceiling supply unit, it may
fall down from the mount or tip over. Personal injury or property damage may result
as a consequence.
Do not use the remote control for docking and undocking.
Key switch
If the key switch for the ceiling supply unit is not present or if it is in the wrong
position, safety functions of the ceiling supply unit will not be available. As a result,
persons could be put at risk.
Only operate the device with ceiling supply units with key switches. The key
switch must be in the correct position. If the key switch is missing, contact
specialized service personnel.
Make sure that the key is removed from the key switch after docking or
undocking. Keep the key in a safe place, e.g., on the service cart.
Make sure that the key switch is only in the diagonal position for docking or
undocking when necessary.
