Troubleshooting
Problem
No reading on pressure
gauge after opening the
nitrox cylinder
Gas leaks at the cylinder, first
stage or bypass valve.
Positive pressure gauge
reading and no gas supply
into the unit
Positive pressure reading
but no gas flow at automatic
bypass valve
While diving, the bypass
valve dumps gas often or
continuously, or does not
perform properly
Calibrated gas flow values
too low or too high
Non- return valves do not
respond to breathing pattern
Non- return valves do
not open whilst breathing
Mouthpiece lever is
difficult to turn

Solution
Fill cylinder
Replace gauge at dealer
Replace hose at dealer
Close cylinder,
bleed pressure
and check seals.
Refer to specialist if necessary
Replace regulator at
authorised dealer
Have hose replaced by authori-
sed dealer
Have valve serviced at
authorised dealer
Have valve serviced or
replaced by authorised
dealer.
Take to dealer for tuning
or replacement
Have mushroom valves replaced
by authorised dealer
Check valves and rinse in fresh
water. Replace if necessary at
authorised dealer
Get mouthpiece cleaned
or replaced by
authorised dealer
Exchange or clean according
to directions. Test by inflating
system and submerging in water
Have the Inflator replaced
by a dealer
Check all sites and refer to
service technician if necessary.
