Assembly and preparation
Charging the light battery
It is recommended that the light is connected to a mains power
socket when it is not in use (trickle charging) to prevent self-
discharge.
The battery charge LEDs indicate the current battery charge state,
see "Status LEDs".
1 Connect the power cable (A) to the trolley.
2 Establish potential equalization at the potential equalization
connector (B) using the potential equalization cable.
3 Connect the power cable to a grounded mains power socket.
The battery charge time is approx. 24 hours if the battery is
fully discharged.
Moving the light to its place of use
The trolley may only be positioned by non-sterile OR
personnel.
Adjusting the transport position
1 Set the tubular stand (A) to the lowest position.
2 Fold the spring arm (B) down.
3 Align the light head (C) vertically so that the end position is
reached.
Only use the handle at the trolley to move the light.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the device caused by overheating
Do not cover the trolley or parts of it during operation or while
charging the battery.
NOTE
If the light is not connected to a mains power socket, it must be
fully charged at least every 4 days.

Potential equalization must always be established.
CAUTION
Risk of tripping
If the power cable or potential equalization cable is routed
through foot traffic areas, this can cause falls.
Make sure that the power cable and the potential equalization
cable are laid without posing a risk.
NOTE
Always position the trolley so that the mains plug is freely
accessible.
In an emergency, the light can be completely disconnected from
the mains power supply by pulling the mains plug.

CAUTION
Risk of pinching
Fingers can be trapped at the transition between the tubular
stand and spring arm.
Do not grip the top part of the tubular stand to move the light.
Only move the light using the handle of the tubular stand.
Do not grip the upper part of the tubular stand when
adjusting the height of the light.
Always use the handle when adjusting the height of the light.
CAUTION
Risk of pinching

stand and spring arm.
