16 Supplement to the instructions for use Polaris 600
Push at walking speed.
Reduce the speed even more at thresholds and on uneven
surfaces or ramps.
Light at the place of use
1 Secure both locking brakes (A) of the trolley.
2 Connect the power cable (B) to the trolley.
3 Establish potential equalization at the potential equalization
connector (C) using the potential equalization cable.
4 Connect the power cable to a grounded mains power socket.
5 Remove the remote control for operating the MedView camera
from the remote control holder.
CAUTION
Risk of collision and tipping
Do not move the light faster than at walking speed.
Reduce the speed even more at thresholds and on uneven
surfaces or ramps.
CAUTION
Risk of personal injury and property damage
If the light runs over electric cables, this can damage the cables.
Do not run over the power cable or the potential equalization
cable with the castors.
Check that the power cable and the potential equalization
cable system are free of damage.

Do not lean on the spring arm.
Only move the light using the handle of the tubular stand.
CAUTION

Do not stand on the trolley.

Do not lean against the light.

Risk of damage to the device caused by overheating
Do not cover the trolley or parts of it during operation or while
charging the battery.
NOTE
Position the light so that the IR receiver diode is not hidden.

The light could move unexpectedly if the locking brakes are not
secured.
Always secure the two locking brakes at the place of use.

Potential equalization must always be established.
CAUTION
Risk of tripping
If the power cable or potential equalization cable is routed
through foot traffic areas, this can cause falls.
Make sure that the power cable and the potential equalization
cable are laid without posing a risk.
NOTE
Always position the trolley so that the mains plug is freely
accessible.
In an emergency, the light can be completely disconnected from
the mains power supply by pulling the mains plug.
