4-1-4 Maximum frequency
The maximum frequency is the upper limit of the reference frequency. Usually, it is the reference frequency
under the condition that the external reference analog frequency is 10V.
1) No. 05 Top.F See the reference frequency timing chart shown in figure 1.
(maximum frequency)
Note: To lower the Top.F setting, data such as Ref(Set).F and PC-Base.F whose upper limit is Top.F must be
lowered in advance. Never forget to lower PC-Base.F (user tend to forget to lower it). However, do not lower
it below the frequency inscribed on the motor rating plate.
4-1-5 V/F function setting
The V/F characteristics can be set based on
the rated output voltage and base fre-
quency of the inverter.
1) No. 06 PC-Base.F
(power control (base)
frequency)
2) No. 07 Rated.Out.V
(rated output voltage)
Note: The rated output voltage can be lowered than the rated motor voltage (Motor.V) and used.
Note 1:For program operation, three more points can be set for the acceleration/deceleration time.
(Four points in total)
Note 2:When the S-shape acceleration/deceleration is used, time from 0 Hz to Top.F and time from
Top.F to 0 Hz increase for the S-shape.
4-1-7 Torque boost quantity setting.
The torque up adjustment can be per-
formed in the low frequency band accord-
ing to the motor load.
1) No. 10 Torq.Boost
(torque boost quantity)
The torque boost quantity
= Output voltage at 0 Hz x 100
Rated output voltage
Note: The setting is invalid when Auto
(auto boost) is selected.
4-1-6 Acceleration/deceleration time (1)
setting.
The arrival time from 0 Hz to the maxi-
mum frequency (Top.F) and the arrival
time from the maximum frequency to 0 Hz
can be set.
1) No. 08 Accl.Time
(acceleration (1) time)
2) No. 09 Decl.Time
(deceleration (1) time)
