Online Emergency Lighting Inverter Maintenance Manual



After making all power and grounding connections to the Emergency Lighting Inverter System; ver-
ify that all system breakers are set in the OFF position, and the Manual Bypass Switch (MBS) is in
the UPS Position.
Turn on the DC circuit breaker (CB2). Set the Input Breaker (CB1) to the ONposition, and verify
that each of the following items takes place:
The fans come on.
The Processor perform a series of checks (These checks will be indicated by the display pan-
els cycling through their LEDs).
After the cycling of the LEDs, press the On Key(see Figure 7) until the unit gives a beeps.

Press and hold the Off Keyuntil the inverter beeps.

When the system is running on Battery Backupmode, the system will emit an audible alarm. The
alarm stops when the Emergency Lighting Inverter System returns to Normalmode operation. Press-
ing the On/Test/Mutekey can silence the alarm during backup mode. In the backup mode the alarm
occurs every 4 seconds until low battery.

In the Backupmode, when the energy of the battery is 5% - 10%, the system beeps rapidly until the
system shuts down.
 The Low Batteryalarm condition cannot be silenced.
