Ducati MONSTER 696 - Cold Start Lever and Battery Status

Shift the cold-start lever to position (B,Fig. 59). Check
that the stop switch (2Fig. 58), is positioned to
(RUN), then press the starter button (3Fig. 58).
Allow the engine to start on its own, without turning
the throttle twistgrip.
Note
If the battery is flat, the system automatically
disables operation of the starter motor.
