What to do if the Duraflame DFI-5010-02 display shows blank?
- MmichellebrownAug 4, 2025
If the Duraflame Indoor Fireplace display shows a blank space, it could be due to several reasons. First, the thermostat sensor might be broken or disconnected. To resolve this, unplug the stove, remove the back panel, and ensure the thermostat is properly plugged into the main circuit board. If the issue persists, contact customer service for a replacement thermostat sensor. Another possible cause is that the manual reset overheat protection has been triggered. Inspect the heater to ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked, as this can cause overheating. Unplug the heater for 30 minutes to allow it to cool down, then replug and operate it. Monitor for any signs of overheating; if the problem continues, stop using the heater and contact customer service.
