Clean the water filter regularly or when the water flow becomes smaller than usual.

Product / property damage due to wrong cleaning / assembly
Wrong cleaning and assembly of water filter can lead to product or water damage.
> Do NOT use detergent.
> Do NOT use excessive force.
> DO NOT use screw drivers to dismantle and assemble the water filter.
> Make sure the O-rings are in place before attaching water filter. Do NOT distort
the O-rings.

Descaling
NOTICE
Product damage due to limescale build-up
In regions with hard water, limescale build-up can impair the performance of the
product.
> Descale the product regularly (

> Only use descaling agents provided or approved by Duravit.
Water hardness Descaling cycle
soft <8.4°dH(1.5mmol/l) every six months
moderate 8.4–14°dH(1.5–2.5mmol/l) every six months
hard >14°dH(2.5mmol/l) quarterly
