TROUBLESHOOTING
Note: Troubleshooting problems may have similar causes and solutions.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The engine
will not start
Is there fuel in the tank? Refill the fuel tank.
Is there enough oil in the
engine?
Add the recommended oil.
Is the spark plug in good
condition?
Readjust gap and dry the spark plug.
Replace it if necessary.
Is the fuel reaching the
carburetor?
Clean the fuel sediment cup.
No electricity
at the AC
receptacles
Is the AC circuit breaker ON? Turn the AC circuit breaker ON.
Check the electrical appliance
or equipment for any defects.
gReplace the electrical appliance or
equipment. gTake the electrical
appliance or equipment to an
electrical shop for repair.
