Reversed Motor
Different motor gear ratios can be provided to allow the R2P 2.0 to run at a wide range of customer-
specific speed ranges. Some of the slower motors that can be provided for the R2P 2.0 have an
additional motor gear stage that make them run backwards from the normally-offered catalog unit.
R2P 2.0 units ordered from the catalog will come with a normal gear stage motor with a default gear
ratio of 60:1 (default) gear motor. In this case the Reversed Motor icon should be off (red X). The
Reversed Motor setting will correct for clockwise / counterclockwise indicators in the menu
selections. If the motor is replaced with a motor different than the speed it originally came with, it is
recommended to consult DWK Life Sciences Technical Service to determine if the Reversed Motor
setting is needed.
Restore Factory Defaults Icon
This is the fourth icon from the top left of the display that looks like a green refresh button. Pressing
on this icon brings up an “Are you sure?” type window in which users must press either the red X to
cancel or the green check to confirm the restore action.
