Why won't my Dyna-Glo SF70DGD ignite but the motor runs?

If your Dyna-Glo heater won't ignite but the motor runs for a short period, and the indicator lamp is flickering once per 3 seconds, it could be due to several reasons: no fuel in the tank, carbon deposits on the spark plug or an improper gap, a dirty fuel filter, dirt in the nozzle, water in the fuel tank, a bad electrical connection between the ignitor and the Control PCB Assembly, the ignitor wire not properly attached to the spark plug, a defective electronic pump, or a defective ignitor. If the tank is empty, fill it with kerosene.
