CONNECTION AND COMMISSIONING
Make the cable connection in the following order.
Never make any changes to the cable connections
while the units are switched on! As connectors for
inputs and outputs, mechanically identical RCA sok-
kets are available, make sure that you do not con-
fuse these connections during installation! Also
make sure not to swap the analog inputs for right
and left. Their RCA connectors are often color-coded
as follows: red for the right channel, black or white
for the left channel. Make sure that all plug connec-
tions are tight. Insufficient connections can cause
interfering noises, defaults, and malfunction.
Connection of the source devices
Up to two stereo sources with RCA high level output
can be connected to the stereo RCA inputs "INPUT"
(9). Use commercially available RCA cables. The out-
put connections of the source devices are often
labeled "LINE OUT". Both analog inlet connectors
of this amplifier are electrically equivalent high-level
inputs with RCA sockets. In addition, you can con-
nect two digital signal sources with optical fiber
cables (stereo) to the optical inputs "OPT1" and
"OPT2" (14), as well as another digital signal sour-
ce with coaxial cable (stereo) the input "Coax" (15).
To use the BT function, tap the "Mode" key (3) until
the "BT" LED lights up. The LED starts flashing and
indicates that the device is ready for connection.
Now search for the amplifier in the list of available
devices with your BT-enabled source device. Please
refer to the manual of your source device for further
details. The TV-50 will appear in the list under the
name "DYNAVOX TV-50". Once you have selected
this, the connection will be confirmed acoustically.
From now on, all audio signals from the source
device will be transmitted to the Dynavox TV-50.
The wireless cross-link port (BT) can be deactivated
(switched off) with the input selector (AUX IN).
