    • D
      Dr. Raymond GoodmanAug 18, 2025

If your EarthQuake Tiller engine is hard to start: * Drain the old fuel and replace it with fresh fuel. It's a good idea to use a gas stabilizer at the end of the season. * Make sure the spark plug wire is securely attached to the spark plug. * Ensure the drive safety control levers are released to neutral before starting the engine.

What to do if my EarthQuake Tiller engine misses or lacks power?
    • R
      Rebecca PenningtonAug 23, 2025
If your EarthQuake Tiller engine misses or lacks power: 1. Raise the tines for shallower tilling by lowering the depth regulator lever. 2. Remove and clean the fuel tank. 3. Clean or replace the air cleaner. 4. Drain and refill the gas tank and carburetor. 5. Replace the spark plug and adjust the gap. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the carburetor adjustment may be improper, in which case you should take it to an authorized engine service center.
