What to do if my Echo CS-8000 TYPE1-E engine cranks but won't start?

If your Echo Chainsaw engine cranks but doesn't start, there are several potential causes. The fuel filter or fuel line might be clogged, requiring cleaning or replacement. The fuel mixture may be too rich, so try opening the choke. Also, the spark plug could be defective, have an incorrect gap, be covered with carbon, or fouled with fuel, so adjust the spark gap to 0.6 mm to 0.7 mm (0.024 to 0.028 in.) or clean or replace the spark plug. In some cases, the air filter may need cleaning/replacement or the carburetor may need adjustment by your ECHO dealer. Ensure the ignition switch is turned on.
