Why does my Echo Power Pruner PPT-230 engine crank but not start?

If your Echo Pole Saw engine cranks but struggles to start or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a lack of fuel reaching the carburetor, in which case you should clean or replace it. Another reason could be that the fuel mixture is too rich; try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, or adjusting the carburetor. Also, check for spark; if there's no spark, ensure the switch is in the ON position. Finally, inspect the spark plug: adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.), clean or replace it if it's covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or defective.
