Why is my Echo SRM-2620U engine cranking but not starting?

  If your Echo Trimmer's engine cranks but struggles to start or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. The fuel strainer or fuel line might be clogged, requiring cleaning or replacement. Alternatively, the carburetor could be the issue, in which case you should consult your Echo dealer. If the fuel mixture is too rich, try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, or adjusting the carburetor. Again, you can consult your Echo dealer. Ensure the stop switch is in the ON position, and if electrical problems or interlock switch issues are suspected, seek assistance from your Echo dealer. Finally, inspect the spark plug: adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.), clean it to remove any carbon, address fuel fouling, or replace the plug if it's defective.
