Why is my Echo SRM-280T engine cranking but not starting?

If your Echo Trimmer's engine cranks but is hard to start or doesn't start at all, there could be several reasons. It might be due to no fuel reaching the carburetor, in which case you should clean or replace the carburetor. Other potential causes include a clogged fuel strainer, a clogged fuel line, or a faulty carburetor, all of which may require cleaning or replacement. Also check the spark plug - adjust the gap to .65mm (0.026in.), clean or replace the plug. If the muffler is wet with fuel, open the choke, clean or replace the air filter and adjust the carburetor.
