OPERATION WP-1000
Stopping Engine
1. Move throttle lever (D) towards engine to idle position and
allow engine to return to idle before shutting engine off.
2. Move ignition switch (A) to “Stop” position.
If engine does not stop when stop switch is moved to STOP
position, close choke - COLD START position - to stall
engine. Have your ECHO dealer repair stop switch before
using unit again.
Cold Weater Operation
Pumps will not freeze when running. However, in freezing
weather, remove drain plug (A) and prime port plug (B) and
drain the water from pump completely after use. All hoses
exposed to freezing temperatures should also be drained,
Before restarting the pump, replace the drain plug and fill plug
securely, making sure the gaskets are in place and in good
condition to prevent air entry into the pump. Prime the pump.
