Transponder Equipment inside a satellite responsible for receiving a single
uplinked channel and rebroadcasting it back to Earth.
Vertical In the satellite industry, vertical is used to indicate the direction in
which the received signal is polarized. Normally you will find that
it is abbreviated as V.
