E C O P H Y S I C S Operating Guide
CLD 780 TR / July 2000 45
(7) “AICI“ window:
Automatic interference coefficient determination.
1. “Aut. interfer. corr“: set to “OFF“ or “ON“
Note: an interference coefficient determination may be made at any time
in the “CONT“ measuring mode, either via the RS 232 interface or via the
keypad (press CE).
2. “AICI-Time“: The interval between automatic interference determina-
tions may be set from 12 to 9999 sec. See window (5) above.
3. “Purge-Time“: If an interference coefficient determination is to be made
using a special gas, then a delay time of from 1 to 120 sec may be set
here to allow the gas tubing to be flushed out before and after the
measurement.
Press MEAS or MENU to exit this level.
(8) “Filters“ window:
Filtering the measured data
The measured data appears in the “CONT“ mode every 100 ms when un-
filtered. Alternatively, the following three independent filters may be used.
If all three filters are activated simultaneously, then four different data
value may appear “simultaneously“.
The three filters are:
1. “Slide“ (9)
2. “Fastaverager“ (10)
3. “Slowaverager“ (11)
Press MEAS or MENU to exit this level.
(9) “Slide“ window
Sliding average of the measured data
1. “Slide-Filter“: “OFF“ or “ON“
2. “Slide-Time“: set the width of the slide filter function, from 1 to 1000
secs.
Note: With filter widths up to 179 sec the raw data is read into the filter
every 100 ms. With longer filter windows, the raw data is first averaged
over 1 sec, then this value is fed to the slide filter. This reduces the memory
requirement.
