(13) “Signal“ window:
Setting the signal filter and signal units for the display and analog inter-
face.
1. “Signal-Type“: A choice is offered between unfiltered data (Direct) or
one of the three filter types (see windows (9), (10) and (11)).
Note: If a filter is selected here, but not activated in the appropriate win-
dow (9), (10) or (11), then stars appear on the display and the analog
output is set to 0.
2. “Kcps or ppb“: set the units of the displayed signal in this window - ei-
ther Kcps (thousand counts/sec) or ppb (parts per billion by volume).
Note: this option may be accessed directly from the “CONT“ measuring
mode window (1a) by pressing the NO key.
Reminder: Only values of one signal type and in one unit may be dis-
played or output to the analog interface at a given time. However, by
sending the appropriate commands, any value in any unit may be output
via the RS232 interface at any time.
Press MEAS or MENU to exit this level.
(14) “Date/Time“-window
Entry of date and clock time
1. “System Date“: Entry of date (dd-mm-yy) e.g. for October 13, 1988
enter 13-10-88
2. “Time“: Entry of the clock time (in hrs and min)
To exit select “MEAS“ or “MENU“.
