E C O P H Y S I C S Operating Guide
CLD 780 TR / July 2000 52
(22) “Pressure“-window
Monitoring of system pressures (this window provides information only)
1. “React.“: Displays reaction chamber pressure in mbar. Normally 10-
20 mbar (see E-02, paragraph 10.1.1)
2. “Bypass“: Displays bypass pressure in two different resolutions and
ranges, in mbar. The figure on the left represents the fine (regulated)
value (range 42 – 127 mbar, res. 1 mbar). The figure on the right
shows the coarse pressure (range 1 to 1013 mbar, res. 4 mbar).
3. “InP-O3“: In instruments fitted with the optional ozone generator inlet
pressure regulator, this pressure is displayed here.
Return with “MEAS“ or “TEST“.
(23) “Temperature“-window
Displays current internal temperature of the analyzer and those of several
important modules:
1. “PLC“: The temperature of the photolytic reaction chamber of the PLC
762.
Note: In normal operation, should be 5 - 10 °C, depending on room tem-
perature. If -18 °C is displayed, this indicates that the CLD 780 TR is not
receiving data from the PLC 762. Check power to PLC and that the
PLC/TR cable is fitted correctly.
2. “Reac“: Main reaction chamber temperature
Note: Normal value between 15 and 35 °C.
3. “Inst“: Internal temperature of the analyzer
Note: The analyzer temperature should lie within the specified tempera-
ture range (5 to 50 °C).
4. “Inlet“: Reaction chamber sample inlet temperature
Note: Set point: 60 °C (see E-10, paragraph 10.1.1)
The illuminated square to the right of the displayed temperature indicates
that the cooling/heating circuit is currently active.
Return with “MEAS“ or “TEST“.
