● Select a mounting location which is solid and secure.
● Install the water heater in an upright position with the inlet and outlet water connections at bottom of the
unit. Ensure unit is level prior to securing the screws.
● The water heater should be mounted using a total of 4 screws through the built-in mounting brackets on
each side of the unit. Minimum screw length is 1 inch long.
● Recommended clearances: 12” above and below the unit, 6” on each side, and 6” to front panel.
A MINIMUM OF 24 INCHES CLEARANCE MUST BE MAINTAINED BETWEEN COMBUSTIBLE
MATERIALS AND THE HOT WATER HEATER AND THE OUTLET HOT WATER PIPE.
