Low pressure overcurrent protection.
Disconnect the power. After 10 minutes,
turn the unit back on. If the "E5" code is
still present, please contact EdgeStar
customer service.

The water reservoir is full.
Pour out the water from the chassis
reservoir the drain plug.

Malfunction of ambient temperature
sensor.
Please contact EdgeStar customer
service.

Malfunction of evaporator temperature
sensor.
Please contact EdgeStar customer
service.

1. Refrigerant is leaking.
or
2. The system is blocked.
Unplug your portable air conditioner.
After 30 minutes, plug it back in. If the
error code persists, please contact
EdgeStar customer service.

1. Ambient temperatures are outside of
the acceptable operating range.
or
2. The evaporator or condenser are
blocked with debris.
1. Check if the unit is operating in a high
temperature, high humidity environment.
If the ambient temperature is too high,
power off the unit and then power it back
on for operation after the ambient
temperature drops below 90°F.
2. If the problem persists, please contact
EdgeStar customer service.
