Programming Manual 2.31
Alarm Zone Response Entry
If a zone has been identified as an alarm type, the following screen is
displayed:
Note: Maximum of 20 entries per zone.
Select any of the menu items and follow the instructions concerning the
required format of each entry. The function of each of the entries is
listed below.
1) Alarm Set: The address of the output, preceded by a priority, will be
turned ON (assuming that the priority is higher than the output’s reset
priority) when the alarm zone senses a short. This output may be a relay
on a standard option card, an LED of the remote annunciator, an output
on a control module (i.e., M500CF, SIGA-CR, SIGA-UM), or an
output pseudo point.
2) Alarm Reset: Same as Alarm Set, except the output is turned OFF
(assuming that the priority is higher than the output’s set priority and
the count for the output increments to zero).
3) Alarm Action: The action number is performed when the alarm zone
senses a short.
