5.2 Clean the Filter
You must remove the filter to clean it. Do not clean
the filter in position in the body tube.
Refer to Figure 1 and use the following procedure to
clean the filter.
1. Switch off the electrical supply, ensure that the
vacuum system is at atmospheric pressure and
remove the APG from the vacuum system.
2. Use circlip pliers to remove the filter-retaining
circlip (3); ensure that you do not damage the inside
of the body tube. Remove the filter (5).
3. Inspect the filter. If the filter is damaged or cannot
be cleaned, replace the filter; a filter replacement
kit is available as a spare (refer to Section 7).
4. Use a suitable cleaning solution to degrease the
filter, then wash the filter repeatedly in clean water.
5. Wash the filter with methanol to remove all traces
of water and then thoroughly dry the filter.
6. Refit the filter into the body tube and refit the
circlip.
5.2 Filterreinigung
Der Filter muss zum Reinigen ausgebaut werden. Den
Filter nicht eingebaut reinigen.
Zur Reinigung des Filters Abbildung 1 beachten und wie
folgt vorgehen:
1. Die elektrische Versorgung ausschalten.
Sicherstellen, dass im Vakuumsystem
atmosphärischer Druck herrscht. Das APG vom
Vakuumsystem trennen.
2. Den Sprengring (3) für den Filter mit einer
Sprengringzange entfernen; dabei darauf achten,
das Innere des Gehäuserohrs nicht zu beschädigen.
Filter (5) ausbauen.
3. Den Filter prüfen. Filter, die beschädigt sind oder
sich nicht reinigen lassen, ersetzen. Eine Filter-
Ersatzteilgarnitur ist erhältlich (siehe Abschnitt 7).
4. Den Filter mit einer geeigneten Reinigungslösung
entfetten, dann mehrmals in sauberem Wasser
auswaschen.
5. Den Filter mit Methanol auswaschen, um sämtliche
Wasserreste zu entfernen. Den Filter gründlich
trocknen.
6. Den Filter wieder in das Gehäuserohr einsetzen und
den Sprengring aufziehen.
5.2 Nettoyage du filtre
Vous devez retirer le filtre pour le nettoyer. Ne le
nettoyez jamais s’il est en place dans le corps du tube.
Reportez-vous à la Figure 1, et utilisez la procédure
ci-dessous pour nettoyer le filtre.
1. Coupez l’alimentation, vérifiez que le système à
vide est sous pression atmosphérique et retirez
l’APG du système à vide.
2. Utilisez des pinces pour circlip pour retirer le circlip
de fixation du filtre (3). Assurez-vous de ne pas
endommager l’intérieur du tube. Retirez
le filtre (5).
3. Vérifiez le filtre. Si celui-ci est endommagé ou est
impossible à nettoyer, remplacez-le. Un kit de rem-
placement du filtre est disponible dans les pièces
détachées (voir la Section 7).
4. Utilisez une solution de nettoyage appropriée pour
dégraisser le filtre, puis lavez-le plusieurs fois à
l’eau claire.
5. Lavez le filtre avec du méthanol afin de retirer toute
trace d’humidité, puis séchez-le soigneusement.
6. Réinstallez le filtre dans le corps du tube et réin-
stallez le circlip.
