5.4 Adjusting the spring balancer
The fine adjustment of the spring balancer is ef-
fected via the PLUS/MINUS screw on its hous-
ing (see Fig. 12 Spring balancerFig. 12).

Turn the screw in MINUS direction until the
cutter is hanging freely in equilibrium (with
the spring balancer) at working height.
If the cutter cannot be pulled out, the spring bal-
ancer is jammed and a readjustment is neces-
sary:
Turn the screw in PLUS direction until the
saw can be pulled out and start the fine ad-
justment again (see above).
5.5 Adjusting the suspension
The suspension can be mounted fixed or swing-
ing freely.
to suspend the saw in a fixed position
(factory setting), mount both bolts and
secure with the circlips.
to hang the saw swinging freely, re-
move the outer bolt.
