Checking connections
See the cable diagram (Figure H) for the following connections:
•Interface board—PCI connection to the Fiery X3eTY motherboard, cable connections
(2) to the motherboard
•Interface board cables (2)—cable connections to the motherboard
•Power cabling—cable connections between the Fiery X3eTY power supply and the
Fiery X3eTY AC power switch, HDD, and motherboard.
NOTE: The AC power switch cables (2) are black and white and attach to the 4-lead
component inside the pan. The cables attach to the bottom pair (inside pair) of leads.
The white cable connects to the lead corresponding to the ON position and the black
cable connects to the lead corresponding to the OFF position.
•Enclosed fans—cable connections to Fiery X3eTY motherboard. Also check fan
orientation. For more information, see “Enclosed fans” on page 27.
• HDD—cable connection to the Fiery X3eTY motherboard
• CPU fan—cable connection to the Fiery X3eTY motherboard
• DIMMs—connection to the DIMM sockets on Fiery X3eTY motherboard
• BIOS chip—directly connected to motherboard PLCC32 socket
•Soft power button—cable connections to the motherboard
