6 Remedying malfunctions
6.1 Malfunctions indicated by messages
In case of interruptions and malfunctions, the status LED will flash or light up (see
SECTION 8) and a message appears in the EFOY app and on the operating panel. There
you will find instructions on how you can remedy the interruption/malfunction.
6.2 Malfunctions not indicated by messages

Remedy
The EFOY fuel cell
does not start
automatically, and
the LED is off.
The battery is connected
incorrectly, defective or fully
discharged.
 Check the contacts,
polarity and cable.
 Connect a charged
battery.
The EFOY fuel cell is in the
Sleep operating mode.
 Switch to the Automatic
operating mode.
The operating panel
is not working.
The operating panel is not
connected or is connected
incorrectly.
 Check the connection of
the operating panel.
The connection to
the EFOY app is not
working.
The Bluetooth adapter is not
connected or is connected
incorrectly.
 Check the connection of
the Bluetooth adapter.
The Bluetooth adapter is no
longer communicating with
the EFOY.
 Disconnect the Bluetooth
adapter and connect it
again. If the LED is
flashing, a connection
can be established.
The EFOY fuel cell
repeatedly activates
the battery
protection function.
The battery is damaged, or
too much energy has been
drained.
 Check the system.
 Change the battery if
necessary.
