5.3 Changing the battery or working on the battery
 Switch off the EFOY fuel cell (see SECTION 4.2.4).
 Unplug the charging cable (see SECTION 7.1).
 Do not reconnect the charging cable until you have changed the battery or are
finished working on the battery.
 Set the new battery type using the EFOY app or the operating device.
5.4 Firmware update
When the EFOY fuel cell is connected to a router with an Internet connection, it
searches for available firmware updates automatically. If a new update is available, the
update is automatically saved in the EFOY fuel cell. The update itself can only be carried
out if charging is not in progress.
During the update process, ensure that the EFOY fuel cell is connected to the
battery and that there is an Internet connection.
The firmware update can last several minutes.
Check for firmware updates at least once a year with your sales partner, using the
EFOY hotline or at www.efoy.com
